About Me
Even from a young age, I’ve always had a deep curiosity about understanding people. As I grew up, I faced challenges within myself and my environment that often left me feeling responsible for keeping the peace and pushing aside my own needs in order to maintain harmony. I desperately tried to stay strong and make everyone else happy, believing that doing so would make me worthy of love. Over time this way of living made even small struggles feel overwhelming and flooded me with shame and self doubt. Luckily, beginning my own healing journey changed everything. I started exploring where these patterns began and how they influenced a lifetime of relationships and reactions. I learned to recognize my needs, become more emotionally aware, develop a deeper sense of self-compassion, and gain a clearer idea of who I wanted to become, all while gaining clarity that my past does not need to define my present.
My own growth gave me a profound understanding of how difficult, terrifying, and courageous it can be to start therapy and begin investing in yourself. Because of this, I aim to create a space where individuals and couples feel seen, understood, and supported as they explore the parts of themselves they have learned to hide. I bring a warm and relational presence, grounded in empathy, curiosity, authenticity, and a belief in each person’s capacity for growth.
My clinical approach is shaped by a systemic and person-centered lens while drawing from experiential and evidence-based modalities, including EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Psychodynamic Therapy. I believe that every person and couple deserves a tailored approach that reflects their unique story and goals. I work collaboratively with clients to help them unlearn patterns that no longer serve them, heal emotional wounds, and move toward more fulfilling lives and relationships.
Whether you are contemplating change or simply seeking a supportive presence beyond your immediate circle, having someone who listens deeply and stands with you can make a meaningful difference.
